History

In August 1957, ten Precision Castparts employees each deposited $5.00 to form Castparts Employees Federal Credit Union. The first office was located in a single-person room under the stairs in one of Precision Castparts’ plants.

After outgrowing the small ‘office’, the credit union moved into a modular unit in the parking lot.

In 2000, the credit union built a new branch off-site, and continues to maintain separate ‘single-person’ service centers located in two of PCC’s plants. Today, we continue the strong ties with our sponsor, Precision Castparts Corp.
