We've Partnered with Clackamas Women's Services

The Credit Union's Community Involvement Committee set out to determine an organization within the local community that could be assisted by the Credit Union's efforts. Clackamas Women's Services was selected based on a few factors including that they are located in Clackamas County and they do not receive substantial federal funding.

Clackamas Women's Services work to end domestic and sexual violence against women. They operate a crisis line, two shelter facilities, a children's program, transitional housing, and community outreach and education programs. The organization provides a bridge for women and children seeking a life free of violence.

Castparts Credit Union donated $2,500 to the Clackamas Women's Services and is collecting non-perishable food for the organization on an on-going basis.
